Tarkington Middle School
Tarkington Middle School is dedicated to its students and their learning experience at our school. This year our students have displayed for us their fabulous ability to comprehend. This talent was reflected by the scores they recieved on their TAKS tests that were given this April-May. Thank You for choosing TMS we hope you have a wonderful, safe summer and are excited about seeing your students at the 2011-12 school semester.
Current Events
- Beta Trip- Next Friday, May 13 the TMS beta club willbe going to Six Flags in Arlington they will leave Friday Morning at 8 am. They've worked hard and earned this trip. Have fun guys!
- Field Trips- Our 6, 7, and 8 eigth grade science students will be going on field trips throughout the month on May they earned them with all there hard work. However, due to budget cuts this will be the last year they will get to go on the field trips. So we really hope thes are there best yet.
- Promotion- Eight Grade Promotion will be Thursday, May 26 following will be the eigth grade dance. All eigth graders have been asked to bring a box of candy and drinks for the party. Thank you for your particpation! Good work Eight Graders!
- Fun Day- the end of the year is approaching that means FUN DAY is almost hear! If any students would like to bring refreshments they are welcome to but the one thing they can't leave behind is a smile!
